Long-Term Foster Care

Some children in care need foster carers who can commit to them on a long-term basis if this is in their plan.  By offering a child a long-term home you can create stability and security for a child, or young person, who can become part of your family whilst you still access intensive support from our professional network.

At RFS we have a high long-term and perm fostering rate, meaning that our children are very well supported by our foster carers and our team, which often leads to children remaining long-term or permanently.
